Vs1: Of all the things you could have used, You chose to use the dust And as I blinked for the first time You watched with hopeful trust That someday I would see The method in the madness That I would choose to follow you Despite the pain and sadness And even then I’ll admit The theology sounds a little crazy – to me I mean who’d ever expect The King of Heaven, to come as a Baby? Vs2: Of all the things you could have said You chose to say it like this You touched our hearts and you blew our minds While imparting Heaven’s bliss That someday I might see The method in this madness That you are not the author Of this pain and sadness And even now I’ll admit The theology sounds a little insane to believe I mean who’d ever heard of speaking without saying a word? I don’t always see the method in the madness But I know that You’re the answer to all the pain and sadness And yes the theology still sounds a little bizarre But I can see your endless love engraved in every scar Vs3: So I’ll follow You and forget what the world has to say Their opinion never mattered… anyway Music Rudi van Schalkwyk & Andriëtte Steenkamp Lyrics Andriëtte Steenkamp
